Hi, I'm Lucas.
A broker and builder in Sayulita.
I moved here from Colorado years ago. I've built homes, raised a family, started businesses, and sold real estate up and down this coast. These days I mostly help people figure out which town is really right for them, then connect them with the right agent. I have my own small brokerage, and when one of our agents is the best fit I'll recommend them. I also work with great agents at other brokerages, and I'll send you wherever you'll be best taken care of.— Lucas
Why I made this
Everybody has a place where they can find the kind of charm they want, and the kind they're willing to put up with. Most people pick a town on this coast from a few days of vacation and a lot of Instagram. Pull to Perch is the conversation I have with friends before they buy: what the town is really like, who it suits, and who should stay away.
How it works
- Pull. Ten questions, about two minutes.
- Stake. Before we name your town, we tell you who it doesn't suit.
- Perch. Your match, the honest catch, where I'd eat, and what to look at next.
How this site makes money
The quiz and the field guide are free. Some links to hotels, tours and rental cars pay us a small commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. If you're buying and ask for an expert, we may connect you with a local agent who fits how you buy. I'm a broker, not a lawyer or an accountant, so always run your own deal by a good attorney and a tax advisor.
